The couple was married last February and now enjoy marital happiness. The couple is married at a lavish wedding at Leela Palace in Chennai. Soundarya Rajinikanth and Vishagan Vanangamudi recently in an interview revealed that it was an arranged marriage. Soundarya, before signing up for the wedding, had Vishagan visit her sister Aishwaryaa and her brother-in-law Dhanush.
In an interview with JFW magazine, Soundarya said, "After my Uncle Thirunavukarasar (Congressional politician) talked about Vishagan to his family and his family, Appa let me know. I would say that there was divine intervention and I decided to meet him. We met in a cafe and immediately clicked. Few people know, in the time of Muhurtham on the wedding day, Soundarya was very worried that her son Ved was not with her. But it was Vishagan who calmed her, saying, "I will not marry you until Ved arrives."
Soundarya is married to the Ashwin business man in 2010, but the two men separated after about four years of marriage. It is also the second wedding of Vishagan Vanangamudi.
