Student of year 2: Neotism reigns in Karan Johar's feminism and testosterone film

Student Review of the Year 2: We agree that the world shown in Karan Johar's Dharma Production films is not the first, neither the second nor the third. This is the world of Dharma. It's a world where everything is beautiful and bright, where colleges are shaming 7-star hotels, where students do everything except studying. The world is so fantastic that even the most underprivileged can flaunt branded clothes. Yes, we have moved on and we are trying to invest in the emotions and honesty with which actors like Kajol, Shah Rukh, Rani Mukerji and Alia Bhatt have portrayed these brilliant roles. But Student of the Year 2 goes too far in his freedom. While in the first installment of the film, two stars and a symbolic underdog were launched, the latter tries to revive another star, to launch another and, yes, there is also a symbolic underdog.

Student of year 2 tries everything. In some parts it is a dance film, a sports film, a university film, a love triangle, a drama of clbad conflict … but nothing works because nothing is connected. The music is not impressive either, the songs come and go without going beyond the lobes of your ears, unlike Kishore Kumar's Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
