The dubbing rights of the film were sold at Rs. 2,6 crore, which is very low compared to other Tamil biggies. Even Ajith's previous film, Vivekam, had been bagged for Rs. 5.5 crore.
Given the poor record of Ajith in the Telugu states, our buyers have not been shocked by its success in Tamilnadu.
It is unfortunate that Viswasam is published in Telugu after the official publication of its original online on Amazon Prime. This could affect to a certain extent Viswasam's activities in the Telugu states.
