Did you expect to win the show?
Not at all. The six finalists really deserved. Everyone could have won. When my name was announced, I became very emotional and could not stop crying. My family is also crazy for joy.
When did you start showing a penchant for music?
I was six years old when I started to be interested in music. My mother holds a master's degree in music and she was my first teacher. Then in 2013, I attended Indian Idol Junior and finished in the top 5. My parents then decided that we had to move to Mumbai for me. We asked Anand Sharma, a renowned music coach, who was part of Indian Idol and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Although he did not train, he accepted me as a student and offered me clbades. free. This victory is for him and I am happy to be able to make him proud.
Was it hard to handle pressure and competition at such a young age ?
Sometimes it gets stressful, but we have a very fun environment that makes everything easy. In addition, we were all more friends than our competitors and so there was no pressure to excel. We all believe that when we are in a good mood, we can sing better.

We were told that you were really mean off screen.
(laughs) They also announced it on the screen. Everyone called me "gundi" in the show. I really enjoyed it with everyone. I have long hair and some of them sat on it to tease me. So I got angry and fought with them.
What did you learn from Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Fields?
I have experienced many ups and downs. And thanks to that, I learned to be confident and never lose hope. In fact, I have learned a lot, but the strength to overcome any low level will always stay with me.

I consider Lata Mangeshkar my idol and I follow her religiously. I listen to it everyday and I learn through it. I want to make my way like her. There is so much more to learn but I want to be a vocal singer.
