As reported by Filmfare, manufacturers plan to make a follow up to this starrer Sunny and Ameesha. A source informed the publication that manufacturers have been working on the suite for 15 years. The story will show what happened in the life of Tara, Sakeena and their son Jeet. The sequel to Gadar will also have an Indo-Pakistani angle.
The source also indicated that the cast of the film would be identical to that featured in Baahubali, Rambo and Fast and Furious. Gadar manufacturers discussed this idea with Sunny Deol. However, they refused to divulge more details about what happened next.
Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel were seen together in the movie Bhaiaji Superhit (2018). The film also starred Preity Zinta.
