Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 is back to headlines for the wrong reasons. Eight months ago, a couple of IIT students had filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the mathematician Anand Kumar, on which the film is based. IIT students say that Kumar's statement of including students in the IIT was false.

According to Mid-Day, Avinash Baro students, Bikash Das, Monjit Doley and Dhaniram Taw are considering filing a new complaint in order to obtain a stay of their lawsuit. Their argument is how a film can celebrate its life while the lawsuit against it has not yet been closed.

Speaking of which, Amit Goyal, student counsel, said, "[The film] This seems unauthentic, we have never tried to damage the film, but [Kumar] has a lawsuit against him. His response [to the PIL] does not completely correct the allegations. "

The report adds that the students were surprised. with the fact that the CBFC had released the film even though she knew the situation.

In the LIP filed against Kumar last year, he had been asked to reveal the names of the 26 members who had been admitted to the IIT in 2018. "He has not yet revealed names in the court In such a scenario, this film may send an incorrect message, "he said.

The Super 30 tells the story of Anand Kumar, who trains every year 30 underprivileged students at the IIT exams. Earlier, the students had suggested that Kumar's false claims encouraged students to enroll in his Super-30 course. However, during the application process, he instructed them to start by entering his institute, Ramanujan mathematics school, after paying 33,000 rupees.

The film suffered several delays because director Vikas Bahl was accused of badual harbadment and had to step aside. Anurag Kashyap was responsible for overseeing the post-production process. However, Bahl was reinstated as director after being cleared by an internal complaints committee.

The Super 30 will go on screen on July 12th.
