New Delhi: Irrfan Khan, one of B-Town's most talented finds, is back in the bay after almost a year. The actor was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, the NeuroEndocrine tumor, for which he underwent treatment in London. Now that he's back to work, the fans and members of the fellowship could not be happier.
Upon his return, he was seen at the airport and looked visibly healthier than before. He shared a thank you note on social media and started working on "Angrezi Medium", a continuation of his "Hindi Medium" success in 2017.
His wife Sutapa Sikdar also shared his thoughts on cancer from her husband. She went to Facebook and wrote a sincere note on the year – round for the family in times of crisis. She even thanked everyone for their prayers and wishes.
She writes: "The longest year of our life . Time has never been measured with pain and hope at the same time . we resume our babysteps at work to from life I am overwhelmed in vows of prayers and faith of close friends and links with a relationship with the universe which gives us a small chance for this new beginning. It seems incredible … I never really understood the meaning of the word unpredictable … I never felt the wishes of people on my heart, my heartbeat that helped me to stay concentrated and kicking me. i names because there are names and there are names that I do not even know who played the angels. Sorry not to have been able to answer individually, but I know what you mean for us. I do not see beyond a day and it's that day when everything seems to be going well. Today, we are going back to work. And the dance and the song of life continue. Thank you for believing in your prayers.
Meanwhile, Irrfan started shooting for "Angrezi Medium" and even shared the first picture of the trays on the medium. The film also stars Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles. It will be directed by Homi Adajania and is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan.
