In the last episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, we see how Bhide and Popatlal find the solution to the problem of rising milk prices.
The episode begins with the arrival of Bhide to the Gokuldham company in rickshaw. He pays the price, but the driver has no money. Bhide has no change either. He tells the driver that he has to keep the change. The driver is ready to give up the change. Bhide insists on paying him the change and tells him that he will receive it from his home. The rickshaw driver is firm in giving up this change. Bhide is excited about his return. He meets Abdul and asks him if he could reduce the cost of milk, which Abdul says he could not. Abdul offers to look for another milk seller. Bhide notices that his scooter is dusty and that there is no thought for the day on the bulletin board. He enters the house and is greeted by Madhavi. He starts talking about work and Madhavi gets angry with him.
He tried to maintain a romantic relationship with Madhavi and told him that he had something for her. She thinks that he likes grapes. He hands her a chivda pakcet and tells him that he knows her and that she likes him or not. He decides to have tea and go downstairs to write the thought of the day. He meets Sodhi in the premises and suggests the thought of the day. They both meet Taarak Mehta, who looks a bit dark. He tells them that he has been served tea without milk today and that is why he is irritated. Popatlal arrives there and tells Bhide that he left without warning. He says that he should get the dear milk for Abdul. Bhide told him that it was his equal responsibility to look for a cheaper milk seller. Bhide and Popatlal agree to work together to find another milk supplier.
Sodhi and Taarak go to work. Bhide calls Chetanbhai for an investigation on milk. Chetanbhai tells him that they stopped taking Abdul's milk because they found another supplier who gives milk at the older price. This leads Bhide to think that Abdul has raised prices by greed. He takes the supplier's number from Chetanbhai. He calls Santosh the milk supplier and while he is talking, Santosh arrives home. Popatlal also intervenes saying that he had Santosh. They all discuss milk prices and Santosh agrees that despite the price increase, he will still give milk at a lower cost. He says that he buys milk wholesale and is thus able to provide lower cost. Popatlal suggests that Bhide informs all members of society. Bhide suggests that Popatlal call half of the members and calls half of them to inform the milk supplier.
Popatlal declares that he can not call because he can not keep his phone busy. Madhavi tells them that she is going to inform the ladies at Babita. The ladies have fun at Babita. Madhavi arrives there and announces the news of the new milk supplier. They all agree to get milk from the new supplier. The Kittie Festival continues.
