Arena and articles published by WWE [1965900] ] WWE Smackdown will enter KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, KY. The arena opened in October 2010 and hosted a handful of WWE events, including Smackdown, in April of last year. So many changes in a year. Big Cbad was still on the list with Daniel Bryan. Babyface Charlotte Flair had just dropped the Smackdown Women's Championship at Money in the Bank, Carmella. Babyface Randy Orton had just given the US championship to Jinder Mahal in a fatal four-man match at WrestleMania. Shinsuke Nakamura was suing A.J. Styles for the WWE Championship. This quarrel was considered a quarrel of dreams. Charlotte, Bryan, Orton are all at heel now. A J. is on Raw. Nakamura is now in the team division with Rusev.

Nostalgia aside, we continue to prepare for Money in the Bank this year. This is what the WWE.com site has announced tonight:

Matches & Segments:

  • Shane McMahon Will Crown New Smackdown Tag Team Champions
  • Kevin Owens Will Respond to Kofi Kingston's Attack the Week last
  • Mbadive Six Team Match Against the Blue Mark
  • Ali and Andrade Will Face Off Tonight

Scenario Follow-up

• Which Raw Superstars Will Benefit from the "Wild Card Rule?"

• Shane McMahon Will Crown New Smackdown Team Champions

• Jeff and Matt Hardy sadly had to quit last week's Smackdown Tag Championship that they won a few weeks ago with a win over Usos, who reside at Raw.
Jeff was attacked by Lars Sullivan the same night and was "injured" at the knee. (In fact, Jeff had knee problems and the attack was to sell the injury.) The Hardys have never defended the titles. Here is the WWE clip about this match, which includes Sullivan's attack, and Jeff in a WWE.com exclusive that discusses his knee injury:

WWE advised on their website and on Twitter, Shane McMahon "crowns" new team champions. They post a graphic on their website and on their Twitter account asking who should receive this honor:

Let's get to the bottom of things. Who should be the new #SDLive #TagTeamChampions ?? Https: //t.co/RTe9krkSs

Analysis of Frank: their absence in this chart is that of the colonists (Primo and Epico), who are always listed on the Smackdown list. It's not that I want to do a big deal to a team that has not been featured since the Obama administration, but you'd think that with a reduced composition, they would have a chance to rise. To my knowledge, the last time they worked on television, was Survivor Series. In addition, Finn Balor and Ali are a team? When did it happen? In addition, where are the Apollo, Shelton Benjamin, Chad Gable and Jinder Mahal crews? Can none of them team up with Matt Hardy? Matt was not hurt. Whatever it is, if it happens as advertised, it will be the first time that a champion is anointed since Eric Bischoff did it with Triple H, which gives it the title of world heavyweight champion in 2002. Many people think it will be Shane and Elias. Why a tournament or games to determine a championship, right? (Eye roll) Granting the team division on Smackdown is slim, but that's not the point.

Kevin Owens' Answer to Kofi Kingston

Much of last week's episode of Smackdown was about the current situation with Kevin Owens and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston. Michael Cole … of Raw … started the show by interviewing Kofi. Kofi went out, throwing pancakes and smiling. Nevertheless, they have relived Kofi's journey in recent months to win the WWE title. They then discussed Owens's betrayal a few weeks ago, explaining how they thought he had changed, but eventually it would be Kevin Owens. Kofi challenged Kevin at Money in the Bank and put his WWE title in play. Kevin agreed.

Later, in the final segment, Kevin hosted the KO show and was to have Xavier Woods as guest. Kevin, who had interrupted Kofi's and Cole's earlier interview, got a very good kick for Woods who attacked him during the break. Woods did not show up when Kevin revealed both the Woods and Big E action figures. He lowered the chair on which he placed the figures. Previously, he had explained that the WWE Championship was a burden for Kofi, as he had done earlier, and was ready to relieve him of this burden at MITB. Kofi went out and went after Kevin. He threw it around the announcement table before Kevin replied with a rake to the eye and withdrew. Here's a little twitch on Twitter as they prepare to head to MITB:

So, after all these discussions, @FightOwensFight is helping him by fleeing. Well, he'd better do his cardio because it's a long run to # MITB . When I catch him (and I catch him), he will understand why I am the champion … positively #RunOwensRun

– KOFI (@TrueKofi) May 1 st 2019 [19659026] All that speaks? I have not said anything yet. Woods and you made sure by attacking me last night. The woods attack me from behind like a coward over …

I'm at least man enough to look you straight in the eye when I stab you in the back. https://t.co/WWXvU9T1Mv

Kevin responds tonight to Kofi's attack. Kofi remains WWE champion after successfully defending the title on Raw last night against Daniel Bryan, both of whom appeared on Raw because of the wild card rule.

Frank's badysis: There seems to be a real intensity between them, although I do not like Kofi coming out smiling and throwing pancakes. During his interview, he should have had a specific purpose, feeling upset by Owens' betrayal. Nevertheless, the situation resumed and Kofi came out at the end as a champion and showed his dissatisfaction with the way Kevin talked about him. It will be interesting to see Kevin's answer tonight because he will likely be a victim since he was attacked by both Woods and Kofi.

Match for six women by team: Bayley and Carmella and Ember Moon against Charlotte Flair and Fire & Desire (Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose)

After last week, we know who will participate in the match of the ladder Money in the Bank the aforementioned PPV in less than two weeks. Bayley, Mandy Rose, Ember Moon, Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Dana Brooke, Natalya and Naomi will be fighting for the contract, as the WWE likes to call it (I call it a briefcase). Carmella was the first winner in 2017 (twice) and Alexa won the bid last year.

Last week, we had a taste of the upcoming show in many ways. Bayley faced Raw & Smackdown champion Becky Lynch in a title match. Bayley made a short gap by beating Becky's Disarm Her after an eight-minute game. After the match, Charlotte Flair attacked her MITB opponent, Becky, and threw Bayley into the corner. Charlotte had defeated Bayley a week earlier in Game 1.

Sonya Deville graciously asked Mandy Rose to take the place offered to "one of them" as Mandy said. Mandy manipulated Sonya a bit to tell him to take it.

Ember Moon was interviewed and after talking about 25 lines of business, Carmella interrupted and reminded all her past triumphs and explained to her that she would show why "Mella, it's money.

we have a variant of the match on the scale to come while Bayley teamed up with Carmella and Ember Moon to face Charlotte Flair and Mandy & Sonya.

Frank's badysis: Carmella acted like his old heel, though I do not think so. WWE believes that it is a big problem since eight women will be fighting for the contract. You can certainly feel that there may be problems in the future with Mandy and Sonya, as we teased several times, although I do not know how good the result will be. As for tonight's match, it's pretty simple. With Money in the Bank, there will be tensions and problems. The winner does not really matter here.

Ali vs. Andrade

The men's money match in the bank also took shape last week as Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor, Ali, Andrade and Randy Orton. They join Ricochet, Braun Strowman, Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre. Strowman, Corbin and Orton have already won the MITB. Of these three men, only Orton managed to defeat WWE's new champion Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam 2013 with the help of Triple H. That night was the birth of The Authority.

Back to the news, last week, Ali & Balor defeated Orton & Andrade. They won the match in about eight minutes when Ali hit his 450 Splash against Andrade. Tonight, in another variant of the next ladder match, Andrade faces Ali head-to-head. The match was announced on the WWE website and on Twitter this weekend. Here is a small exchange on social networks between them and Ali in an exclusive WWE.com with Dasha Fuentes about Money in the Bank:

Yo apagaré la luz. Yo be el futuro. Another step for me before taking the #MITB . #SDLive #AlivsAndrade https://t.co/K5X1e0G45u[19659006CLINIQUE-~ELIDOLOÅANDRADE(@AndradeCienWWE) May 5, 2019
