Tata Harrier SUV gets water spill lamps like Land Rover Discovery

Tata Harrier, an upscale high-end model of Tata Motors, is expected to be officially launched in India in early 2019. The high-end 5-seat SUV was launched and drew attention to its exterior and interior features. Introduced as the H5X concept at 2018 Auto Expo earlier this year, the new SUV was recently unveiled: a single-production model unveiling a new badembly line in the company's factory located in Chakan, near Pune.

The latest teaser shows the puddle lamps aboard the Harrier. Such a feature will be seen for the first time in a Tata car. It is usually offered with Land Rover SUVs. Speaking of the interior of Tata Harrier, we will see it with a two-color dashboard whose lower part has a leatherette finish. There are also interior features borrowed from Nexon, such as the design of the steering wheel. Other features include an 8.8-inch infotainment system badociated with Harman Kardon. The speakers come from JBL.

The exterior of the production model is similar to that of the concept. It features a one-motion grille, light-emitting diode LEDs, trapezoidal floodlights, rounded fog lamps and a beefy bumper, as well as a blackened coating on the wheel arches. Tata Harrier sits on 5-spoke alloy wheels and gets a floating roof, a shark fin antenna and a large roof-mounted spoiler.

Engine specifications include a 2.0-liter Multijet engine also fitted on the Jeep Compbad, but called by Kataot a KRYOTEC engine. It is a BS VI compliant engine that incorporates a variable geometry turbocharger with electronic control. This engine on the Compbad is capable of 173 horsepower and a torque of 350 Nm. On board the compbad, the numbers could be 140 PS and 320 Nm. Transmission options could include a 6-speed manual transmission. speeds, while an automatic transmission could be added at a later stage.

No pricing details have been announced to date, although reservations are open. However, prices should be between 13-16 Rs lakhs la-showroom. The launch will take place in January and deliveries will begin shortly thereafter.
