Amboli police in Mumbai arrested a 32-year-old taxi driver suspected of criminal harbadment by film and television producer Ekta Kapoor. According to media reports, Ekta has been harbaded more than 30 times by this man in recent months, but he has now been arrested.

The accused was identified as Sudhir Rajendra Singh and he belongs to Haryana. He wanted to meet Ekta for work and also wanted to be friends with her, suggesting some media reports. At first, the producer ignored it, but he pursued it throughout the city.

According to a report from a daily newspaper, one of the police officers said that Sudhir had followed Ekta during his visit to a temple in Juhu recently. He even tried to talk to him but was arrested by personal guards. He was warned to stay away from Ekta. A complaint under Section 354 (D) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered. The defendant was found using video surveillance and technical evidence from Andheri Road, west of Veera Desai Road. The case is still under investigation.

It seems that Singh even joined the same gym where Ekta frequently goes to training. He was often seen outside or near the gym when Ekta was training on the outside.

On Saturday night, Singh tried to sneak into the gym when he saw Ekta come inside, but he was stopped by the guards. After this incident, an official complaint was registered for criminal harbadment and Singh was arrested on Monday.
