That would explain some things. Extreme Rules came and went and there were a lot of interesting things in the series. There was a whole series of changes of titles because the champions did not have the best night in the world. Finn Balor notably lost the title Intercontinental, out of nowhere. It turns out that the story is a bit more complicated.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Balor lost the title last night while he had requested a few months' leave at WWE, probably just after Summerslam. Balor asked for a holiday in order to be able to relax and the request was accepted, hence the need to remove the title. We do not know how long Balor will be gone or when he will return.
Balor has seemed a little fishy lately. Check out his title loss last week:
Opinion : This certainly clears what happened to Balor last night, since he lost the title in a short match with little fanfare. I can understand that he may need some free time and that he has at least lost the title for the benefit of someone who has nothing to do for the moment. Balor can come back recharged and ready to go, with new creative ideas.
What do you think of Balor? What should he do when he returns? Let us know in the comments below.
