The actor Vidyut Jammwal was acquitted today in a case of badault directed in 2007 by a Mumbai court for "lack of evidence"
The Metropolitan Court Bandra acquitted the actor and his friend Harishnath Goswami in the case twelve years after the two men had been accused of badaulting a businessman.
The businessman, resident of Juhu, had alleged that the actor and his friend had broken a bottle to the head in a five-star hotel in Mumbai
The court said that there was "no evidence" to act against the accused.
Martial artist training, starred in several Bollywood films, including "Force" and "Commando".
