The egg that dethroned Kylie Jenner with a record number of likes Instagram has reached an agreement with Hulu now, well, they did something good with that.
was supposed to be a new co-partner show falling right after the Super Bowl, turned out to be a short animation promoting mental health awareness.
"I've recently started to crack," reads a caption taken from the clip. "The pressure of social media is starting to hit me – if you're struggling too, talk to someone."
The animation directs viewers to the Mental Health America website at the end of the clip, which also tweeted the message. 19659007] In case you missed it, the creator of the egg was finally revealed on Sunday.
Chris Godfrey, who works for the London-based advertising agency The & Partnership, was identified in an article by BuzzFeed before the Super Bowl. Mashable's reports confirmed that Godfrey was the person behind the account.
Another interview with the New York Times reveals that mental health will be "the first of many causes" that the egg will help promote.
Godfrey said that the popularity of the egg had grown organically, adding that the claims of its creators paying influencers to get the word out or people taking credit to increase its audience were untrue.
The account, which contains messages showing a slow-cracking egg, revealed Friday that "everything will be revealed" on Hulu after the Super Bowl. next to play.
