Manikarnika: The queen of Jhansi keeps her collections at the ticket office, Tuesday's collection has only dropped by 5% from Monday. The film would have struggled if Tuesday had dropped by 10-15% but this drop keeps the film in the race all the more as competition is limited in the second week. According to the latest report from BoxofficeIndia.com, the film reported a total of 4.25 crores of rupees on the fifth day of its box office sale. The film has so far managed to collect a total of 49 million rupees at the box office in five days.
The collection of the first week's film is expected to go through a crore of 56 Rs, which seems pretty decent. The film seeks to do business on average and the second Friday will tell if the next few days will be for better or for worse.
"Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi" tells the story of the great Indian fighter, Rani Laxmibai, who fought against the East India Company and British rule in order to prevent the annexation of his kingdom, Jhansi. The tragedy of this period also marks the Bollywood debut of television actress Ankita Lokhande, who plays the role of Jhalkaribai, a fierce warrior woman and a close confidant of Rani Laxmibai.
