Kalank debuted with a formidable collection of box office recipes, before it was released. collapse on the commercial circuits from the second day. Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt played two of the main roles in this film. but they are less likely to be bothered by a single flop. Both actors had a fantastic phase with blockbuster movies. Thus, a single film on the flop can not hinder their success and demand in the sector.
On the other side, Sonakshi and Aditya had trouble finding a hit movie decent. The latest films of the actress – Noor, Ittefaq and Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi – have all been bombarded at the box office.
On the other hand, Aditya also failed to produce a hit movie, Fitoor, his latest films – Fitoor, Ok Jaanu, Daawat-e-Ishq – is turned out to be a disaster.
In such a scenario, getting important roles in a big movie like Kalank has brought them back into the limelight. However, that did not succeed either to impress the public, and it is certainly a great loss for the two stars in trouble.
Directed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank also introduced Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. The drama of the time came out on April 17 and managed to break the 50 crore mark of Rs during its first four days.
