Prior to Zero's release, Shah Rukh Khan confirmed that his next film would be Rakesh Sharma's biopic Saare Jahaan Achcha. However, after the bankruptcy of Zero, at the box office, we learn that Shah Rukh came out of the film and will start filming Don 3, . third part of the Don franchise and will also mark the return of Farhan Akhtar to management after eight years.
But there is no official word in the report, whether Shah Rukh Khan leaving Saare Jahaan Achcha or starting work on Don 3. However , at the second launch trailer of Sonchiriya, producer [Ronnie Screwvala] was questioned about the rumor of Shah Rukh coming out of the film and his response more or less confirmed that the news was indeed true. According to a report published in Bollywood Hungana, Farhan Akhtar denied working on Don 3 and teamed up with Shah Rukh Khan. In fact, he is busy preparing his boxing role in Toofan of Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra . Apart from that, Farhan will also be occupied by The Sky Is Pink, where he starred alongside Priyanka Chopra and has also produced other films. So, Farhan has a lot of work to do and does not like to work on Don 3 or return to management .
