Roman Reigns was transferred to SmackDown Live as the largest acquisition of the blue brand at the Shake-Up Superstar. He boldly announced that SmackDown is now his job site, but he has to start somewhere.
Reigns is currently scheduled against Elias at home. It probably means that their rivalry will spread on television.
This is a change from the previous WWE quarrel with Reigns vs. Baron Corbin. The two men were also promoted to Extreme Rules in July. However, now that they are on different brands, this surrogate quarrel seems to have been abandoned. Now, The Big Dog will apparently fight against The Drifter.
While Kofi Kingston alluded to facing Reigns, this does not seem to be the plan yet. So we may have to wait a bit before Reigns is in a position to win a WWE title.
