At present, it does not seem that many Disney fans are upset by the arrival of the studio remake of their animated clbadic of 1992 Aladdin . Marketing certainly has no benefit, whether because of Mena Mbadoud's seemingly wooden performance as a street kid or the boring choreography of what should be one of the most animated parts of the film. However, if the early buzz is an indicator, this movie is much better than what the trailers seem.

Aladdin Early Reactions
Our film, Peter Sciretta, was pleasantly surprised by the film, but still did not think it was a total success:
#Aladdin was better than expected. Not the expected catastrophic criticism, but not a homerun. It's surprisingly fun. Naomi Scott is a tall Jasmin, but did not like the actor playing Aladdin. The music is better, the less it tries to evolve the songs we know.

Kristen Lopez thought it sounded like a musical version of Aladdin High School and that it was so too:

One of the shortcomings seems to be the following: to be Jafar, as well as some of the visual effects for genius, but that does not spoil it:

A critic even stated that Aladdin was the second best choice of Disney among the recent remakes of their cartoons:

Proudly a fantastic musical adventure, the jokes are powerful, Smith's Genie is a lot of fun, the human tracks work well. It's 20 minutes too much, but it's a crazy charm for the whole series.

Just from # Aladdin . It's not a disaster, it's an uneven situation – some of the most difficult moments do not feel won, and some interesting ideas are a little cooked. But Naomi Scott is doing well, and once the introductions of Robin Williams are over, Will Smith has fun too
