The Hindi film industry bids farewell to veteran singer Mohammed Aziz

Well-known personalities of film music and the Hindi theater industry on Wednesday paid tribute to veteran singer Mohammad Aziz, who died Tuesday at the # 39, age 64 in the Nanavati Hosptial of Mumbai.

The singer lent his voice to more than 2000 film songs in Hindi, Bengali and Odia.

Ahsaan Qureshi, Raza Murad, Narayan Udit, Sadhana Sargam, Suresh Wadkar, Sukhwinder Singh and Abhijee t Bhattacharya attended the funeral of Aziz in Mumbai.

Udit Narayan said, "We lost a great artist and a good human being today, he was my dear friend and a very good singer, and he has delivered some hit songs during his musical career.
"This is a huge loss for us all and for the film industry and his soul is resting in peace."

In rendering his last homage to Mohammed Aziz, Sukhwinder Singh said: "Mohammad Aziz was a good human being, generous and humble, and treated his fellow artists with great respect."
