The short film tells how Suganthi fought all the stereotypes of the village. and the norms of patriarchy. She said that while looking at her children, she was pondering over her childhood on the fact that she could not do what she wanted to do because of the strict and conservative society that l? surroundings.
This 24-minute short film was directed by Sasha Rainbow of New Zealand. and he won the Best Documentary Award at the Atlanta Film Festival. The film had previously won the Best Director Award for Short Film at Mumbai International in 2018.
