After two successful and modern episodes The Secret Services and of the Golden Circle ), the Kingsman series returns to history for a prequel that leans on the early days of the gentleman spying agency. And now, the first trailer of the film is here to give us a preview of what to expect.
Take a sheet from the book of Wonder Woman The King's Man (formerly Kingsman: The Great Game ) will see multiply the blockbusters that take place in the context of the First World War, as they tell the story of the founding members of the "first independent intelligence agency."
Echoing the dynamics of Colin Firth / Taron Egerton's first film, the story sees Ralph Fiennes's secret agent coached a new recruit, played by the young British actor Harris Dickinson ( Beach Rats ). Their mission? To prevent a cabal from the worst tyrants and criminals of the world. 39 history – including Rasputin of Rhys Ifans – to unleash a new war that could annihilate millions of people.

directed by Matthew Vaughn and co-written and by Jane Goldman, the film is supported by a starry cast, including (* takes a deep breath *), Gemma Arterton, Matthew Goode, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Stanley Tucci, Tom Hollander, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou and Charles Dance.
If you miss Harry and Eggsy, do not worry: The King's Man is touted as a spin-off rather than as a whole new direction for the series. A third Kingsman film proper – starring Firth and Egerton and intended to serve as "the conclusion of Harry Hart's relationship with Eggsy" – will be filmed by Vaughn and his collaborators immediately after the end of this prequel.
Meanwhile, The King's Man will be released in British cinemas on February 14, 2020.
