SPOILERS AHEAD.
In Winterfell, the survivors pay a last tribute to those who fell in battle against the king of the night. Daenerys bids farewell to Ser Jorah Mormont; Sansa cries near Theon and places a giant wolf brooch on his chest. Jon asks that all those who died fighting be remembered as shields that protected the kingdoms of men. Then the logs are lit: those of Lyanna Mormont, Edd, Ser Beric Dondarrion and thousands of Dothraki.
The dark mood rises that night, during a feast. Gendry is legitimized by Daenerys and named Lord of Storm's End; Tyrion notes that this decision earned him an ally. Sansa hears the exchange and seems disturbed. The toasts are drunk in Arya, which is not found.
Conversations take place all around Winterfell's Great Hall. Ser Davos informs Tyrion of Melisandre's death and explains how the Lord of Light prompted them to "do what he wanted" and dropped him. (Well, not in those exact words.) Brienne plays the game of alcohol with Pod, Jaime and Tyrion, and Tyrion correctly guesses that she is a virgin. Agitated, Brienne moves away and is followed by Jaime. Tormund, observing this, goes out and drowns his "sorrows" in a glbad.
Tormund and a group of Nordic / Wildlings are also grouping around Jon.There is a lot of good humor and backslapping.Tormund lists all the heroic actions of Jon – the fact that He continued to fight after God knew how much adversity he was riding on a dragon and took part in the fight. "Who does that?" He roared, "only a fool or a king." (Side note: And also a queen.)
Jon watches Daenerys and while she's smiling, she is very disturbed. This is a moment reminiscent of Viserys looking the love that the Dothraki have for Daenerys, when she eats the heart of the stallion in front of the Dosh Khaleen. She leaves the room, followed by Varys.
Sansa spends a brief time with the hound where he tells her that she should have let King's Landing with him the night of the Battle of Blackwater Bay, as he had asked . He calls it "Little Bird" to remember how he has addressed her in the past. Sansa said that if Littlefinger and Ramsay had not pbaded her, she would have always been the "Little Bird".
After the feast, couples look for each other.
Gendry finds Arya practicing her archery and offers her to her. , asking her to be the Lady of the Storm. Arya embraces her but says that she "will never be a woman. It is not me," as she told her father many years ago when he sketched out a future like this.
Jaime goes to Brienne and they make love.
Daenerys visits Jon; he consoles her for the loss of Ser Jorah, she tells Jon that she loves him. They kiss pbadionately, but Jon moves away. Daenerys begs him not to talk about his sonship to anyone, even though Jon rebadures her by telling him that he would never claim the iron throne, that she will always be his queen. He wants to share the truth with Sansa and Arya. Jon and Daenerys separate on a disturbing note.
The next morning, it's time to re-evaluate their military campaign for the South. More than half of their forces have been wiped out. Sansa takes time for northern men to recover from their wounds, but Daenerys insists that they insist and remind them how she has brought her armies into the North to fight Night King. Jon says the men of the North will serve Daenerys and fight for her.
It is decided that Daenerys will take Rhaegal (who has a wounded wing) and Drogon to White Harbor from where the Unsullied will go to King's Landing / Dragonstone. Meanwhile, Jon, the northern men and some remaining Dothraki will head south.
Jaime decides to stay in Winterfell, with Brienne, whose seat is Sansa.
At the end of the council of war, Arya approaches Jon and tells him to speak. Sansa, Arya, Bran and Jon head for Godswood. Sansa pointed out that it's not even Daenerys, the dragons or his armies that killed the king of the night – Arya did it. But Jon says the Targaryen forces gave their lives for the fight and saved them time. Arya tells him that she understands why he bent his knee, that it was the only way to save the North, but the reason Jon swore that his allegiance to Daenerys no longer exists.
Arya says that they are all Starks and that they must stay united. Jon is in conflict and asks Bran to reveal his identity to Sansa and Arya.
While Jaime and Tyrion sit together, Bronn appears. He told them that Cersei had offered Riverrun in exchange for the murder of the two Lannister brothers. Tyrion follows up on his previous promise, offering Bronn double what Cersei had done: Highgarden, once the war was won. Jaime is flabbergasted. Tyrion tries to persuade Bronn to go south with them, to fight in the Targaryen army, but Bronn says he's tired of fighting.

On the outside of the castle walls, the Hound makes a solitary tour and is joined by Arya. He tells Arya that he will go south, she tells him that she also has pending business. "I do not intend to come back," he told him. "Me neither," she answers.
Tyrion takes leave of Bran, then of Sansa. He observes that she is extremely disturbed. He asks her not to upset Daenerys, that she (the Sansa) will be the real power in the North, even after the victory of the Iron Throne, because Jon will be absent in the capital.
Sansa remarks that he seems to be afraid of Daenerys and Tyrion. says: "Every good leader must inspire a little fear." Sansa retorts: "And there's someone better?"
There are a lot of sad holidays for Jon: Tormund tells him that the Wildlings are going home. Jon asks Tormund to take Ghost with him to his real home. Sam and Gilly tell Jon that they are expecting a child and that they will name him Jon, if he is a boy. Sam and Jon have an emotional separation.
On the ship from White Harbor, Tyrion tells Varys that Jon is Aegon Targaryen. Varys asks how many people know now; When Tyrion answers "eight," Varys says it's "no more a secret but an information". They discuss the possibility that Daenerys and Jon get married and reign together, but Varys points out that Jon is too much of a northerner to marry his own aunt, regardless of Targaryen practices. He also notes that their queen does not like power sharing.
Their queen is flying over the ships with Drogon and Rhaegal. Suddenly, a lightning bolt crosses the sky and hits Rhaegal in the chest. The dragon is quickly hit by other bolts and falls into the sea. Daenerys sees Euron Greyjoy at the head of a fleet of ships, one of Qyburn 's scorpions being mounted on the deck. She accuses him, but moves away when he begins to shoot him.
Euron then attacks his ships, separating them for the most part. Some survivors fail on the shores of Dragonstone – Tyrion, Varys and Gray Worm among them. There is no sign of Missandei.
At King's Landing, all the inhabitants of the city were brought into the walls of the red dungeon "for their safety", but of course serve as a human shield to Cersei. Euron has informed her of the latest developments and she is delighted. She promises that the Kraken will rule the sea, the lion the earth and that their child will rule the world. Euron looks at Qyburn to see if what Cersei has suggested is true, and Qyburn nods to indicate that yes, the Queen is carrying Euron's child. Cersei makes fun of Daenerys for wanting to be "the chainbreaker" – next to her, Missandei is chained.
At Dragonstone, Varys, Tyrion, Daenery discuss his plan to destroy King's Landing. Varys tells Daenerys that she is making a mistake, that too many innocent lives will be lost now that the inhabitants of the city have been brought into the red dungeon. Tyrion suggests that they pursue Cersei to obtain a surrender so that no more life is lost. Daenerys nods reluctantly. She also tells her advisers, "I am here to liberate the world from tyrants, it's my destiny."

Varys' anxiety grows. He explains to Tyrion that he has served all his life as tyrants and that they all felt destined to do certain things. Tyrion points out that Daenery's belief in destiny is hardly unfounded – she went into the fire with three stones and came out with dragons. Varys, however, is convinced that Jon would make a more moderate and temperate leader. When Tyrion says that Jon does not even want to be able, Varys points out that it is perhaps the best quality of a leader.
In Winterfell, Brienne and Sansa learn the news of the ambush against Daenerys. Jaime is also informed. While Brienne sleeps that night, Jaime saddles his horse and prepares to leave. Brienne wakes up and comes to him, she begs him to stay. She tells him, "You are a good man." Unlike Theon, Jaime does not accept this absolution. He enumerates all the terrible things he did for Cersei, ending with: "She is detestable, and so am I." Then he goes away.
Outside King's Landing, Daenerys, Tyrion, Varys, Gray Worm and the pitiful remains of Unsullied. Missandei, Cersei, Euron, the mountain at the top of the city walls, with scorpions mounted all around to keep Drogon from flying inside.
Qyburn emerges from inside the city gates and Tyrion goes ahead to negotiate with him. He asks for Cersei's surrender, Qyburn asks for Daenerys' demo – otherwise Missandei will be killed. Tyrion goes to the walls and addresses Cersei directly, reminding her that she's not a monster, that she loved her children deeply and that she was not supposed to cause collateral damage to the people of King & # 39; s Landing during this war. Cersei seems moved by his words, until Tyrion continues to say that she must save her baby
Cersei's behavior hardens and she asks Missandei for her last words. Missandei says: "Dracarys". The mountain decapitates it.
