#TheLionKing combines an extremely realistic CG with heart, humor and the same story as the original music. It also captures the same magical feeling of the animated film and stays true to its spirit. Most dubbing works well and the music comes out again.

just released #TheLionKing . Dominant Reaction: SIMBA IS SO CUTE. But really, if you hope it will be an almost exact adaptation of the animated movie with absolutely stunning visual effects, you will get what you are looking for. pic.twitter.com/14BydbdhCx

There's enough new content to make it look cool (plus some really hilarious new jokes from Rogen / Eichner – nobody made me laugh anymore) and they really managed to recreate the most iconic sequences.

Lowlights: seriously, a strange valley to sing with a realistic image of animals singing …. Also I lost them Slapstick moments that make LK really funny, so I missed them and everything fell short of what I wanted. Um, I guess that happens for serious things as well.
