Actor Shah Rukh Khan and his wife and interior architect Gauri Khan won the most stylish HT's most stylish couple's award from India last Friday. The event, held at St Regis in Mumbai, also saw the couple become all cute and cuddly while he was posing together on the black carpet.

Shah Rukh credited for the victory of his wife. "All I know about style is Gauri," he said. "I'm basic and boring and she brings beauty," he said.

Gauri made a hilarious revelation about Shah Rukh and stated that he needed a lot more time to prepare. "Every time we go out, I'm ready in 20 minutes but it takes 2-3 hours. Tonight I made a lot of effort and I took three hours, and he took six, "she said.

Host Vicky Kaushal also explained how they were married for 27 years when Shah Rukh had said, "Kya baat kar Raha hai, we came as a young, elegant couple." Vicky then released some old family pictures, Shah Rukh and Gauri, and one of them showed them hugs in Darjeeling. "I was very poor and Gauri was a middle clbad when we took this picture.I had promised to take her to Paris but I took her to Darjeeling and I thought it would take it like Paris. It's our honeymoon in Darjeeling, "he said.

He also complained that Gauri did not allow him to take pictures. "Gauri never lets me take pictures, but now I'm allowed to take a selfie with my family," he said. Gauri did not hesitate to give the reasons. "The only reason I do not let him take pictures is because it takes so long to get ready. He does not care about how the family shows up, "he said.

Shah Rukh also danced with Radhika Apte with Aaj Ki Raat during the event. "Just to tell you that when Radhika was dancing for Aaj Ki Raat, I was looking behind me if anyone really came, we can not show that much realism," he said.
