The most stylish of India in India: Akshay Kumar says he was offered the Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, regrets for refusing it | Bollywood

Actor Akshay Kumar made a confession on Friday during the most stylish ceremony of HT India in Mumbai. When animators Vicky Kaushal and Radhika Apte asked him what movie he had not seen yet, he said, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. He said that he had been offered the lead role in the film, but that he had to refuse it.

"In fact, I regret not having made this film. It was Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. This film was offered but I opted for Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobara, "he said. "It's the film that I'm very guilty of not doing and not watching too," he added.

The film was eventually awarded to Farhan Akhtar, who played the role of Olympian Milkha Singh, often referred to as the "flying Sikh". It was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and also performed by Sonam Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Meesha Shafi and Pavan Malhotra. The film was a commercial and critical success. Farhan has won several awards for his work in the film, including the Best Actor Filmfare Award.

Akshay won the HT Hottest Trendsetter (Male) HT India's Most Stylish. He received the award from his stepmother and veteran actor Dimple Kapadia. She presented him on stage as his son.

Akshay's wife and author, Twinkle Khanna, also won the HT Most Stylish Author Award. Speaking of her husband during the event, Twinkle said, "All it is, it's because of the woman who stands behind him."

The latest film from Akshay, Kesari, is doing well at the box office.He currently works on Good News, Mangal Mission, Sooryavanshi and on a Prime Show of Amazon, Fire.
