This is a difficult time for Avengers fans: Endgame and Game of Thrones. On the one hand, the ten-year journey of the core of the Avengers is coming to an end with Endgame. On the other hand, the Battle of Winterfell will take place on April 28, which will kill some of our favorite GoT characters. As we feel the world crashes, Hollywood has planned some movies that will help us cope with both defeats.
This summer, several interesting films are planned to cheer the audience. From real action movies to mutants causing chaos, these seven movies will help ease the pain badociated with the loss of Starks, Rogers and other characters. Without further ado, here are the films released this summer:
Detective POKÉMON Pikachu:
Last year, Ryan Reynolds titillated the funny bone with Deadpool 2. This year he becomes Pikachu for the detective POKEMON. Trailers promise a fun trip into memory. The film should be released on May 10, 2019.
Aladdin:
After Pikachu, Disney is ready to take us on a fascinating journey through Agrabah with Aladdin. We can already imagine ourselves jumping like children. This time, Will Smith brings Genie to life, Naomi Scott plays Princess Jasmine and Mena Mbadoud stars. The film is released on May 24, 2019.
Godzilla: The King of Monsters:
Godzilla comes to terrorize theaters with Godzilla: The King of Monsters. Producers sell the film as the biggest film of the summer. No, no, not in terms of box office but in terms of manufacturing. Forbes reports that manufacturers are talking about size, scale and planetary carnage. We will have to wait until May 31st to see if it keeps its promises.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix:
Sophie Turner might well say goodbye to Sansa Stark this summer. But she is preparing to ignite the big screen with X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The film is the first release of X-Men since the signing of the agreement between Disney and Fox. X-Men: Dark Phoenix is released on June 1st.
Men In Black: International:
Thor: The stars of Ragnarok, Chris Hemsworth, and Tessa Thompson meet to save the world without powers of superheroes. The two stars turn into men (and women) in black in Men In Black: International. The two stars use high-end gadgets to fight aliens in this film released June 14.
Toy Story 4:
Toys are on the big screen eight years later. If that does not please you, we do not know what will happen. A new member has joined the toys and it seems like a moving roller coaster is waiting for us. Release of Toy Story June 21, 2019.
Spider-Man: Far From Home:
We know that the new Spider-Man is far from its release date. But we could not finish our list with the mention of Tom Holland starrer. After all, this is Marvel's first post-Avenger character movie: Endgame. Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled for July 2, 2019.
