Karan Johar's upcoming production "Student Of The Year 2" has been in the spotlight since its inception. The film's trailer, starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria in the leading roles, was dropped last week and filmmakers have now treated the fans with the film's first title, released Thursday.

Tiger, Tara and Ananya recreate the magic of Kishore Kumar's clbadic "Ye Jawaani Hai Diwani" from the 1972 film "Jawani Diwani", which was filmed by Randhir Kapoor and Jaya Bachchan.

Karan Johar, the producer of the upcoming movie, joked the viewers with a short video on his Twitter account, in which one can see the main cast announcing the release date of the song and sounding the original track.

In the clip, Tara says, "The most iconic song of all time," he adds, "my dad's favorite song and I have to dance to it," and Ananya is heard: "C & Is such a privilege for us to dance on this song ".

Along with the clip, KJo writes: "Bring back the" Gili Gili Akkha "with the new students! Stay tuned, #TheJawaaniSong tomorrow, # !! SOTY2."

Interestingly, in the movie trailer, fans had a preview of the upcoming song. The recreated version is sung by Vishal Dadlani and Payal Dev, with lyrics recently written by Anvita Dutt, while the original lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi.

The movie "Student of the Year", which is a previous film, also boasted of a modern interpretation of the Nazi cult cult number Hbadan, "Disco Deewane".

"Year 2 Student" is the sequel to the blockbuster film "Student of the Year", which marked the debut of Bollywood with Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.

While KJo had directed the first film, the second installment was directed by filmmaker Punit Malhotra with the glory of "I Hate Luv Stories".

"Student of the Year 2", shot mainly in Dehradun, will be released in cinemas on May 10, 2019.
