What's the Story?
At the Royal Rumble of 2019, there was an unusual tag team in the pre-show. Scott Dawson of The Revival Teamed with Rezar of AOP in a match against Chad Gable and Bobby Roode, champions of the WWE RAW Tag Team.
After the match, his teammate, Dash Wilder, is mocked of a possible outing of WWE.

Recent reports suggest that The Revival requested their release from the WWE because of their lack of reservation as well as the state of the team division RAW.
The Revival are rumored to be interested in AEW, which could have caused the RAW tag team to leave the WWE.
The heart of the problem
At the Royal Rumble launching ceremony, AOP leader Drake Maverick was outside Vince. The McMahon and Maverick office revealed that he had talked to Vince McMahon about a possible match for AOP for Royal Rumble.
Akam, half of the AOP, is injured, and Maverick said that Rezar once again wished to win the title, so proposed a new tag team for the night – Rezar + a half of The Rev ival. Maverick said, "I know it looks different, but an opportunity like this: if this team wins, it means The Revival and AOP can be online for a future RAW Tag Team Championship opportunity. . Rezar is in the know. I hope Scott Dawson is there too.
Scott Dawson of The Revival has agreed to join Rezar to fight RAW Tag Team Champions Chad Gable and Bobby Roode. Roode and Gable won the match and retained the title in the opening game of the night.
Following the match, Dash Wilder tweeted an emoji "good bye", once again teasing the remoteness of the WWE.
We do not really know if Wilder was sincere or he was just playing the WWE and Dirtsheets universe (like us) with his emoji tweet.
