If you enjoyed watching Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal's Amazon Prime TV show on Mirzapur, get ready for the second season. Confirming with style the following season, the producers have released a new musical promo promising more theater and action.
The new promotion gives a glimpse of the first season, resonating with gunshots, catchy dialogues and catchy music. Viewers responded favorably to Mirzapur, who visited the fictional city of Mirzapur, where abuse of power is commonplace and violence is a way of life. Confirming the same, Farhan Akhtar said in a statement: "It's interesting to see that global audiences are responding well to the kind of content we create. It started with the appointment of Inside Edge for an international Emmy and now, Mirzapur is watched and loved throughout India and the world; we are pleased that both programs have been renewed for the following season, giving us another chance to present Indian stories on the world stage. The show would be presented on the floors this year and will be broadcast online in approximately 200 countries.
Pankaj had gained immense popularity for playing Kaleen Bhaiya, ruthless and corrupt, in the series. Ali had played Guddu Pandit and Vikrant Mbadey was considered Bablu Pandit in the Web series.

Produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidwani in Excel Media & Entertainment, Mirzapur was created by Puneet Krishna and directed by Gurmmeet Singh. The gangster drama also features Divyendu Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Shweta Tripathi.
