The final fans of the Game of Thrones book series have been waiting for almost a decade – and George RR Martin is now ready to do whatever he can to finish it.

The author must still write the last two books. in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, with the latest installment, A Dance with Dragons, to be released in 2011.

But Martin is now planning to close and finish the books, even promising to leave
