The 2018 National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Hackathon, a two-day event, was organized at the Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), on the Kudlu Gate campus, on the Hosur Road in from Saturday.

The top 20 teams will be invited to start their business based on the ideas presented at the Bengaluru event competitions; turning them into commercial solutions within the DSU Start-up Village and the Atal Innovation Center (AIC) on the DSU campus

The statement says that NASA has listed 25 challenges from six categories for which compound teams have to work. The top two teams would be selected to participate in the global competition and winners invited to visit the Kennedy Space Center in the United States to attend a live launch. In addition, innovative solutions will be supported to develop a product for a NASA startup.
