WWE Announced Arena and Items
The WrestleMania Weekend is fully behind us now and tonight we are turning our attention to Superstar Shakeup , as we prepare to enter the "New Year" genre for WWE, as if the calendar told us once the WrestleMania weekend ended. Raw returns to the Bell Center, home of the Montreal Canadiens, multiple Stanley Cup champion, after appearing last April. That night, Kevin Owens received a huge pop from his hometown of Montreal as he made a promo with Roman Reigns (which they desperately wanted to overcome at the time, so he decided to let Kevin Owens encourage his faithful of his hometown to do that.)
Here is what is announced for tonight's show:
Matches and Segments:
Story Follow-up:
- Lacey steps into forward to "Becky Two Belts"
- The Universal Freakin & # 39; Champion is waiting for his next challenge
- Bobby Lashley is fighting back
- The big dog is protecting his job
- Irwin R. Shyster is coming to make sure everyone pays his taxes that day (I'm kidding. can not help me, it's tax day.)
PUBLISHED MATCHES AND SEGMENTS
The Shakeup Superstar Begins
I will keep the center of the overview here. Let's be honest, that's what we're thinking about tonight. You are not worried about matches or segments. You want to know who is going where and who could come from NXT.
The most remarkable moves at Raw last year (at least at the time) were Jinder Mahal, Baron Corbin, Bobby Roode, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Dolph Ziggler. Jeff Hardy, Joe Samoa, Asuka, The Miz and The Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus), among others, were heading to Smackdown. Drew McIntyre made his Raw debut from NXT. Andrade ("Cien" Almas at the time) did the same thing as it had been announced at Smackdown.
Up until this year, WWE announced potential projects as The Bar and New Day made their appearance on Raw before performing at their usual Smackdown address. Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre both appeared in separate segments on Smackdown. Braun attacked American champion Samoa, Joe and Drew teamed with The Bar to face New Day.
Drew left the match at six. I was in the building, as I had previously reported in my report on Smackdown website. Unexpectedly, he waved his hands in the ring and went out into the crowd with a security escort. People have speculated on various websites to hurt him, but nothing was apparent and nothing has been confirmed by the WWE. Big E was injured in the Cesaro match and this was confirmed by WWE. Rumor has it that Drew is leaving the club to protect him from losses.
(Now they want to protect Drew, he's lost to Dolph Ziggler, Finn Balor and Roman Reigns, and lost)
Here's the tweet confirming Big E's injury.
UPDATE OF INJURY: @WWEBIGE suffered a torn meniscus and is currently not authorized to act. https://t.co/3DugEuGEfK[19659016eakfasts-WWE(@WWE) April 11, 2019
The WWE does not tease anyone in a specific way, but it discusses the impact of Lars Sullivan and Lacey Evans. had up to here.
Analysis of Frank: Rather than breaking my head to try to find out who is going where, I will give you which, in my opinion, should be separated for the moment and who could use a change of scenery. :
(1) Roman Reign divided and Seth Rollins. I could see Roman go to Smackdown given the beginnings of FOX. Let Seth do his own show and not have to worry about Roman's return to the picture of the World Championship.
(2) Split Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. While Ronda Rousey was taking leave, Charlotte could slip into the No. 1 stub at Raw. Also, please have Charlotte and Becky on opposite shows. I pray WWE.
(3) Usos and the tag division of Smackdown. The Raw tag division desperately needs a high level team.
(4) Get A.J. Styles from Smackdown. I just think that he needs a change of scenery and if they do, hope the good opponents are at the rendezvous for him.
(5) Related to item # 4, get Finn Balor on Raw. It's been a while and I think Smackdown is better suited to his character. I guess you have to spill Samoa Joe on Raw with the American title, but I can work with that. It's complicated because they teased Braun Strowman at Smackdown last week; however, it could have been a kind of quarrel between him and Joe with the result that Joe went to Raw. If Joe drops the American title, he can argue with Seth Rollins about the World Championship because they have a moderate history.
(6) They teased Drew McIntyre at Smackdown while he was standing at the bar, but threatened them in the main match. Event. They also teased Bar on Raw last week. This should be tracked because it could keep Drew busy until he's ready to fight for a championship, be it at Smackdown or Raw. I feel that one of the parties is moving. It's not crazy to imagine the bar breaking up and doing something with Sheamus and McIntyre.
(7) Separate Aleister Black and Ricochet. As much as I could recalibrate and enjoy their teamwork, let these guys part and ask them to start their simple throws.
(8) Split Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. I do not need to explain that, is not it? If Owens is a foosball this time with Sami as heel, I guess it's good as I said in the post-show Smackdown with Wade Keller and Jason Solomon. It's more rational than thinking it's a good idea.
(9) Do not be surprised by the end of New Day. I'm not quite sure of that, but with Big E on the set, they could explore the possibility of leaving Kofi himself as the WWE champion and seeing what Xavier Woods can do on his own. . Merchandise sales could hinder that.
(10) Remove the alarm clock from Raw. I've been pleading for their move last year and I'm still doing it. It would be nice to see a quarrel with the Hardy.
It's a shot for everyone. Many people have been on the same show since 2016 or their debut as Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura. Daniel Bryan has been to Smackdown, but I do not know if I'm dying to see him go on Raw. I have the impression that Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong) could be headed north as they did everything they can do in NXT. Curiously, I have the impression that Bobby Fish was pushed by a single player, but they would probably have brought the whole group. Kairi Sane and Io Shirai could be Paige's flagship team she talked about at Smackdown. Pete Dunne returns after losing the British title NXT, but it's also the craziest thing in the world.
FOLLOWING STORYLINE
Lacey Evans and Beck & Lynch Women's Champion Becky Lynch
last week. and Smackdown, Becky Lynch celebrated her victory over Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania. I talked about his promotion of Raw in the smackdown primer last week and, of course, you can look into Raw reports from Wade Keller and Zack Heydorn here on PWTorch.com .
On both shows she was interrupted by "Sbady Southern Belle". Lacey Evans. On Raw, Lacey's music hit as Becky left the ring. After a brief look, Lacey knocked Becky to the right of his wife. After being briefly down, Becky charged her and the two women got into a fight. Becky almost got the Disarm Her on Lacey before the referees forced her to.
Lacey attacked Becky again at Smackdown. It seems that these two people will work together in the near future, considering what happened last week. Trash begins:
You see New Charlotte – while you are trying to re-educate Ronnie's old ronnie, which has failed, "maI is a man", The Champ Champ shows you how to attract real interest in a fight. Keep watching, darling. Then try to follow @LaceyEvansWWE
– The Man (@BeckyLynchWWE) April 12, 2019
And my actions are discussed by the "story makers" themselves….
It's a good thing you're training, my high heels will need to be cleaned when I'll have finished taking everything you've worked for ?? https: // t .co / tRT8HcdEq9
– Lacey Evans ~ WWE Superstar (@ LaceyEvansWWE) 14 April 2019
Frank's badysis: Lacey may end up on Raw, although WWE talks about it tonight I think it's a lure and she ends up on Smackdown. If they move Charlotte to Raw, I do not see Lacey and Charlotte in the same show as heels. It's a snap, but Lacey, Becky's first opponent, is interesting. I agree with PWTorch's longtime columnist, Bruce Mitchell, because I need to know more about Lacey, but I would like to see this "plus" because his character certainly attracts my attention. By the way, invite VIP to listen to Bruce's fantastic work on the Bruce Mitchell Audio Show and the post-VPP roundtable discussions.
The next challenger of Seth Rollins, champion of the universal
Seth Rollins remains the all-around champion and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston played an unopposed match after interference from the Law Society (Sheamus and Cesaro) in their decisive match.
Last week, he withdrew his promo from victory and admitted that he may have resorted to "dubious tactics" to defeat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania for the championship. He of course mentioned the low blow he delivered with the referee on the ground. Nevertheless, he celebrated with the fans and said "we deserve it" and the fans chanted "you deserve it often".
Tonight, among those who will learn who will arrive at Raw, we find out who will be Seth's next challenger or at least the process of determining the challenger.
Frank's Analysis: I discussed Drew McIntyre's position as a challenger. It could be Baron Corbin because he could argue his point by saying that he has retired from Kurt Angle and that he deserves the title. Corbin would not be terrible, as it could prove useful to give Rollins a first defense of the successful title. Lars Sullivan could be hurt if we saw callups and novice wrestlers get thrown into the title image. We will have to see who will finish Raw because there are a lot of variables.
Next Up for Bobby Lashley
Last week, Bobby Lashley had to face Dean Ambrose in Dean's last match at WWE. . It turned into a fight with Lashley who placed Dean on the table in front of his wife, Raw's commentator Renee Young. The match never took place.
Lashley and his manager, Lio Rush, were in a bad mood, while Lashley lost his intercontinental championship title against Finn Balor for the second time in two months at WrestleMania. While Superstar Shakeup is ready to be unveiled, everyone will guess the next step for Lashley. Here is a tweet from Lashley suggesting that he may be filling out an address change form:
So #SuperstarShakeup Next week eh? I've been holding #Raw weekly, but it may be time to go somewhere where I'm respected and treated with fairness. #TheAllMighty made #SDLive awesome in the past … why not let the best athlete in the world shine on Tuesday nights
– Bobby Lashley (@fightbobby) ] April 10, 2019
Analysis of Frank: I would like to know if Bobby Lashley will or will not go to Smackdown, but I will not oppose it. I am more interested in how his character is used. Overall, the situation has improved since the heel turn and the fact that Lio Rush is more serious at the microphone certainly helped. A new set of opponents would be good, because I saw him all against Finn Balor and / or Braun Strowman that I can face. I could see something working with Rey Mysterio since Rey still works well with a contrasting style. They could revisit his quarrel with Kevin Owens if Owens stays at Smackdown because they have never solved this problem since his return. Ali would work the same way as Rey.
Roman Reigns' court
Roman Reigns took the win over Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania in his first singles match against leukemia. It was not on Raw last week, but the WWE hints at its presence in the series tonight. This could be for his next quarrel, or maybe a goodbye should he be transferred to Smackdown.
Roman is on Raw since the return of the split brand in 2016. He appeared in 2012 as part of the Shield. (him, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose). Since then, he has been WWE World Team Team Champion with Seth Rollins, triple WWE Worldweightweight Champion, US Champion, Intercontinental Champion, WWE Universal Champion and winner of the Royal Rumble 2015.
Frank & # 39; s Analysis: WWE will want big stars once Smackdown is rolled out on FOX. While Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston hold the team championships, the honest Roman Reigns is still their type. With Dean gone, I'll separate them. Let Rollins have Raw and give Roman a fresh start with a new set of opponents. The audience of Smackdown could also be a little more indulgent towards Roman. I like the idea of Roman and Usos together, but I do not feel it's a priority for WWE and I still see Usos coming to Raw. Anyway, I think the importance of splitting Roman and Rollins is important to me.
Other possible topics for tonight
• Advertisers may discuss the fact that Nia Jax is on the casualty list as she will undergo surgery to repair both ACLs. The WWE has acknowledged as such on their website and on Twitter:
UPDATE ON INJURIES: @NiaJaxWWE will be out of order while she undergoes surgery to repair her two ACLs. https://t.co/yKcepbzjr0[19659016unsetWWE(@WWE) April 13, 2019
• Alexa Bliss beat Bayley in a squash match last week. The speculation has been a mock meditation on social media and on various "flags" of struggle that Sasha Banks has tried to stop after WrestleMania and is unhappy, but nothing is confirmed. Bayley getting crushed like that is interesting though and wondering if she's on her way to Smackdown. If this happens and they send it back with Sasha, it's a big change: they are the first women's team champions and expect a long and successful run. Here are some tweets from Sasha and Bayley last week. Read what you can:

• Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder kept the Raw Championship Tag Team on the alarm clock. I'm 50/50 to keep the titles tonight when I feel a team coming from Smackdown or dare I say Undisputed Era and ending their short course. They could also tell their story by continuing to hold the titles and finding ways to win. I do not have a strong feeling anyway. It depends on the quality of Vince McMahon's coffee this morning.
• Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, for all intents and purposes, turned their backs last week when they said they would try to get back on top "by all means necessary." After losing to Aleister Black and Ricochet, they attacked them. Look for them to continue cementing their new character.
• Sami Zayn cut a fan hating promotions, saying the WWE was toxic because of the fans. The promotion has been the subject of numerous discussions in various podcasts and articles on PWTorch.com. My two cents is that it's an old hat and Sami is Vince's spokesperson. I tend to think that Vince talks a lot through his heels and that last week was no exception.
