The first teaser of Kangana Ranaut Manikarnika's highly anticipated and perhaps most ambitious project: The Queen of Jhansi will be launched on the occasion of Independence Day this year. The actress will be seen portraying the central character of Rani Laxmi Bai in the film, which is supposed to be based on the life of the warrior queen.
A report from ZeeNews suggests that on Tuesday, Kangana went to meet film producer Kamal Jain at her office where she also saw some rushes of Manikarnika. Apparently, she was so impressed and excited after watching a few excerpts of the movie, that she made the announcement to launch the film's teaser on August 15 of this year, just after coming out of the office after her meeting with the creators.
Kangana worked hard enough for the biopic Rani Raxmi Bai. From learning to ride to fight at the sword, the actress spared no effort in preparing the film, even before starting to shoot for the film.
The report also shares the fact that Jain thinks that the audience will be stunned by the scale and breadth of the film and that the action sequences at Manikarnika are also to be watched. He also added that viewers will love the character of the queen of Jhansi who is represented by Kangana.
