Hyderabad: Naga Jhansi, a future television actress, committed suicide while hanging on the ceiling of her residence in Nagarjuna Nagar in Hyderabad . It is said that Jhansi had a prolonged conversation with Surya, the man she was in love with, before committing suicide.

Jhansi's brother, Durga Prasad, complained on Tuesday night to the Panjagutta police, claiming that she had not reacted after knocking on the door. He opened the door with the help of neighbors before finding her hanging from the ceiling.

Prasad told the police that Jhansi had been in depression for a few days.

The police found his cell phone and other personal belongings for the purpose of investigation. The sub-inspector of Panjagutta, Mohan Kumar, said that the reason for the suicide had not yet been determined.

A native of Mudinepalli in Krishna District, Jhansi moved to Hyderabad a few years ago. In addition to acting, she also ran a beauty institute.

It is said that she reduced her acting duties after getting close to Surya six months ago. Surya lives in Vijayawada, about 300 km from Hyderabad.
