on Adnan Sami's Twitter page, can be seen as damaged
The Twitter account of singer Adnan Sami was allegedly hacked Tuesday by Ayyildiz Tim, the same group of Turkish hackers who attacked the microblogging site of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, replaced the same day.
Profile picture of Sami with a picture of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, who edited the biography by adding "Ayyildiz Tim Love Pakistan" with an emoji of Pakistani and Turkish flags.
Sami previously held a Pakistani pbadport and obtained Indian citizenship in 2015. On Monday evening, around 23:40, HST, the same group hacked the account of Bachchan, tweeting also the link of his Instagram page "official", although unverified, writing "We are waiting for your support."
Amitabh Bachchan's Twitter account hacked, deleted
Bachchan's page was restored half an hour after Mumbai police alerted the cyber unit . The group had already hacked the Twitter accounts of actors Shahid Kapoor and Anupam Kher, among others as well.
A spokesman for the Mumbai police told PTI that they had informed the cyber-unit and that the investigation was ongoing. The cover photo of Bachchan's account, which was subsequently removed, showed the group's promotional photo with an eagle in flight – the same case as Adnan Sami's story.
