In the 2019-20 Tamil Nadu budget, Chennai obtained a large share of the infrastructure and development projects presented by Tamil Nadu Vice Minister of Finance and Finance Minister Panneerselvam on Friday. He said that the revenue shortfall for the 2019-2020 year would be reduced to 14 314.76 crores of rupees, compared with 19 319.02 crores of rupees, the revised estimate for 2018-19. This project will involve the optimization and improvement of city traffic, public transport and transportation management systems. A complete parking management system will be implemented for an expenditure of Rs 2,000 crore with underground and multi-level car parks.
