The Wonderful Madame Maisel a comedy of the time, was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino. She wrote and directed the show with her husband, Daniel Palladino. She represents Rachel Brosnahan in the lead role, Miriam "Midge" Maisel, 1958's housewife in New York, who discovers that she has the gift for stand-up comedy.
