The follow-up project was launched after eleven years and, apart from Kartik and Janhvi, the sequel will also feature another male actor and we will have some interesting news about it.
Now, if we believe the latest reports, the second male character will be described by Fateh Randhawa, the nephew of Tabu. A source close to Bollywood Bubble confirmed the same thing. For those who do not know, Fateh is the son of famous actress Farah (Naaz) and Vindu Dara Singh. The couple divorced. And Vindu is currently married to Dina Umarova.
The first Dostana was a confrontation with two men posing as homobadual couples in order to obtain an apartment. Both fall in love with the same girl. In a previous interview with DNA, Karan Johar said, "I am delighted to advance the franchise with Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor.
