Actor Kapil Sharma knotted with his longtime girlfriend, Ginni Chatrath, December 12th. The two men cloaked themselves during an intimate ceremony with close friends after which they held a lavish reception for their industry friends on December 24th.

The wedding was followed by numerous receptions in Amritsar, Mumbai and Delhi for his friends and family. comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show, he revealed an incident occurred during his wedding when a man spoiled his marriage.

Kapil recounted that a fan came to the Amritsar scene and congratulated him on his marriage to Ginni. Besides, he even kissed her on the cheek. However, the host continued to wonder if he knew the person. Soon, when he realized that he did not know the guy, he hit him on the elbow, leaving him unwell. After that, he was not seen at the scene.

The Indian Council for Audiovisual Media Research (BARC) revealed that the latest edition of The Kapil Sharma Show was among the top five most watched TV shows in January of the second week.
