Fans eagerly await Ayan Mukerji's upcoming film, Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. Saurav Gurjar, wrestler at WWE, will debut at Bollywood in the film. Not only the WWE, Saurav is also popular for playing Bheem on the mythological show Mahabharat. The wrestler is currently under contract with WWE for a three-year development program.
At 6 feet 8 inches, Saurav has a threatening presence on the screen and we can be sure that his negative character in the film will have a lot of charisma and will hold the audience of the film stuck on the screen. In an interview with DNA, Saurav gave details about his character and his debut at Bollywood.
"I play a negative character in Brahmastra.The film is full of action and I do all my movements.I have action scenes with Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the film, "said Saurav Gurjar.
The Bollywood debuter also expressed his immense joy of working with some of the biggest names in the industry, from the beginning of his career. Saurav in particular revealed that Ranbir had helped him a lot in his action scenes and that working with Big B was a real honor, he said.
"Ranbir is a very good kid. He does not stop asking me who helps me to train and how I do my movements or how wrestlers like Undertaker have made their moves. I had the great chance to work with Mr. Bachchan. However, in my first scene with him, I had to hit him. I was a little nervous. Then he said to me: "You are a real wrestler, do not break my nose if you like it". I became very nervous after that, "added Saurav.
Produced by Karan Johar, Dharma Productions, Brahmastra is also performed by Nagarjuna Akkineni, the southern superstar, in a central role, while actress Mouni Roy, who debuted with Bollywood in Akshay Kumar & Gold, is also part of it.
