Spokespersons of the multiplexe initially claimed that it was about technical problems, then that "the top officials" had called to request that the film be deleted because it could " cause public order problems ".

According to sources, the calls came from reputable police officers who could not be named.

But filmmaker Anik Duttta, her producer and actors, felt that it was an infringement of freedom. expression.
