Took more than 20 drafts to lock the script of Thalaivi, Jayalalithaa's biopic: Director Vijay

Chennai: Filmmaker Vijay, who is ready to direct a biopic about the life of actor and politician J. Jayalalithaa, titled Thalaivi, states that he had taken more than 20 drafts to his final version of the script team. On the occasion of Jayalalithaa's 71st birthday, the title of the project and a poster were revealed. Thalaivi will be produced from April.

"When producer Vishnu Induri offered me this biopic, I felt more sensations than thrills, it was the story of an accomplished man. a woman who fought for her place in a world dominated by men.

"It was supposed to be told honestly. The stature of this great leader and her courage have inspired me to say yes as soon as I have offered this opportunity, "Vijay told IANS.
