Mister Pyare's Prime Minister Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra addresses the delicate issue of open defecation in India by telling the story of an 8-year-old child who dreams of building a toilet for his mother places him in front of the residence of the Prime Minister.

The trailer, released Sunday, gives a preview of the film that follows the journey of Kanhu, a slum boy who, after the rape of his mother by a stranger, decides to write a letter to the Prime Minister

Kanhu loves his mother Sargam, played by Anjali Patil, and does odd jobs to contribute to his income. In one scene, we can see him selling condoms in the streets.

The trailer begins on a lighter note but takes an emotional turn when one day, Sargam goes out to do his needs in the middle of the night and gets raped by a man. on his way home.
