One of the best animation movies of all time is the 1994 clbadic The Lion King. Upon its release, the original film was not only a box office blockbuster and received immense critical acclaim, but also won two Oscars for Best Score and Best Original Song. The remake is piloted by Jon Favreau, who previously directed the 2015 blockbuster The Jungle Book, a remake of the original clbadic. And we expect something similar to happen here too.

The film's teaser sparked a lot of love from fans and moviegoers around the world and the trailer was eagerly awaited. And a few hours later, Disney finally released the first trailer of The King Lion and the result is breathtaking. It's a visual treat. Just by watching the trailer, you can expect an Academy Award for Best VFX for Disney. The trailer also offers a lot of emotions. Hearing James Earl Jones' celestial voice as Mufasa is enigmatic. And as the animation is photo-realistic, Scar looks even more complicit and fierce. In addition to Mufasa, Simba, Scar and others, we also take a look at Rafiki.

Overall, the tone of the trailer is quite philosophical. However, the final scene takes a turn when we look closely at Timon and Pumba.

Watch the trailer for The Lion King below:

The film will see a treasure of Hollywood's talented stars expressing these beloved characters. Donal Glover plays Simba, Chiwetel Ejiofor in Scar, Billy Eichner in Timon, Seth Rogen in Pumbaa, John Kani in Rafiki, Beyoncé in Nala, and James Earl Jones resumes his 1994 vocal role in Mufasa.

Just like the original movie, the legendary Hans Zimmer also composes the music of the remake.

The Lion King must be released on July 19th.
