The TV actor Shaheer Sheikh apologized to his former girlfriend, Ayu Ting Ting, during a theatrical performance in Indonesia. Indonesian television has broadcast clips of the actor, according to reports. After the excuses on stage, Shaheer also posted an emotional note on Instagram, thanking Ayu for forgiving him. The two men lived four months in 2015 after meeting on the sets of an Indonesian reality show.
Acknowledging that they moved on, Shaheer told Ayu that they had not met for a long time and had not spoken to each other, and added that he wanted to express his regret for have made him feel bad, according to a report. He also said that he did not want to hurt her and if he did, he was sorry. Ayu, overwhelmed, said she had forgiven him and the duo then hugged and danced around some romantic numbers.

Later, Shaheer shared an emotional message on Instagram where he published a beautiful photo with Ayu and wrote, "I guess to have a clear heart, we must accept, forgive and be forgiven. In an interview with the Times of India in January 2016, Shaheer reportedly said about his break with Ayu. He said, "Even though she spoke English, we could barely understand each other's emotions. The people around us have also tried to influence us. They were against me attending her as she was a single mother. Misunderstandings have snowballed into bigger problems. Sometimes things do not work when they are not supposed to be. "
