Esha Gupta, an actor and supporter of Arsenal, was arrested on social media for making racist remarks against Nigerian footballer Alexander Iwobi. Social media was in turmoil as a snapshot of a conversation on WhatsApp that Esha told in his Instagram stories. The conversation criticized Iwobi for his performance.
During the conversation, a friend of Esha called Iwobi a "gorilla" and said that "the evolution stopped for him". Esha replied to this: "Haha … I do not know why they do not do it more on the bench."
