Box office: Uri catches Badhaai Ho
Adding another feather to his hat, Uri: The surgical strike surpbaded the collection of life of Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Badhaai Ho (crore of 137.61 rupees) on his third Friday, while he added 4.40 rupees more to his cat. His total collection, after 15 days at the box office, rises to Rs 138,19 crores.
The war film, titled by Vicky Kaushal, will enter the coveted Rs 150 crore-club at the end of its third weekend, writes film critic and trade badyst Taran Adarsh on his twitter account. Mr. Adarsh also shared the last turnover of Uri: The Surgical Strike . His tweet below:
The New Versions Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Thackeray had a negligible effect on the box office performance of Uri: The surgical strike [1945900]]. While the Ranaut-starrer Kangana gained 8.75 crores of rupees on the first day, the Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer opened at Rs 6 crore.
Keeping in mind the current trend, Uri: The Surgical Strike continuing as well. crackling performance for many days to come. Republic Day, in particular, will considerably boost its activity.
