Uri: The Surgical Strike continues to break records at the box office, ending the competition well before its fourth week of release. The action drama broke records previously established by Baahubali: The Conclusion, one of the biggest hits in the history of Indian cinema.
Uri created a crore of 6.53 Rs on the 23rd day of its publication and a day of Rs 8.71 on day 24, thus beating the previous record established by the fantastic epic of SS Rajamouli. Baahubali had crores of 6.35 and 7.8 million rupees on the same days.
