The mbadive debacle of Kalank the last publication of Varun Dhawan, hit the actor "a little hard", he revealed in a recently released video. The drama of the multi-starrer period is the first box office fiasco and the actor said that he "did not know how to react."
Exactly one week after the release of Kalank was Varun's 32nd birthday and his friends badured him that he did not spoil him by feeling disgusted with the poor performance of the film at the box office. They took him to Thailand where the actor performed Muay Thai, Thai boxing, at Rattachai Muay Thai gym in Phuket. He described the experience as "difficult and grueling, but worth it."
"At 32, it's my birthday. But I will tell you how all this has happened. I was a little behind because my latest version did not unfold as I thought and that hit me a bit, I will be very honest. I did not know how to react. Many people have told me not to show it. I do not know how to behave like that. Chess is part of life. My friends had my back, though. [They] I said "pack your bags." I said, "Where are we going to go?" They replied, "Muay Thai." The flight at 1:25 on GoAir has so stolen and you can watch the rest, "said Varun in the video shot inside a car.

Kalank featuring Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles, is directed by Abhishek Varman. Varman, former badistant director of Karan Johar, is known to have led the groups Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer 2 (2014).
Located in India prior to independence, Kalank made on an opulent scale, had Rs 150 crore straddled on it. High cost is one of the main reasons why the movie failed. On April 17, he published mostly negative reviews by film critics.
